Xnapper needs Screen Recording permission in your macOS to capture your screenshots.
If your screenshots appear blank or only contains your desktop background, it could be because Xnapper was not granted the Screen Recording permission correctly.
Here is how to fix it
- Make sure Xnapper is moved to your /Applications folder. If Xnapper is not in that folder, a lot of weird issues may happen.
- Open System Preferences
- Click โSecurity & Privacyโ
- Click โScreen Recordingโ

- Click the ๐ย icon to unlock the section on the right
- If Xnapper is already in the list, we need to remove it and add it again. Select Xnapper.app in the list and click the โ-โ button.

- Then click the โ+โ button and select Xnapper in the Applications folder.
- Click Xnapperโs status bar menu icon โ Quit Xnapper Completely โ then start Xnapper again.
Xnapper should works properly now.
