What is a “Product Engineer”?

Our definition of a Product Engineer is someone who has all of the below skills:

• A senior software engineer who can work on all areas of the product: frontend, backend, devops, database, tooling, mobile web app, etc.
• A person with product mindset who can think from the customers’ perspective. Understand what’s good for the customers, what will bring more value to the business, and use those insights to incorporate into the product.
• Solid UX design skills, understand the basic principles of UI design. Can work on a product from the ground up without help from a designer by using existing design and templates.

About this position:

• You will become one of the first members of our core engineering team, taking responsibility of all aspect of our system: frontend, backend, deployments, CI/CD, infra, database, monitoring, etc.
• You will help us build TypingMind.com: maintaining the system, adding features, fixing bugs, etc. You may also work on other products of the company.
• You will mainly work in coding but can also involve other related works like: UX design, brainstorm new features, run experiments on product, support tech-related tasks in marketing/sales campaigns, etc.
• You will support marketing and sales to communicate with our customers on technical aspects of the product, involve in our users community, support other teams on technical details.
• This is an on-site position, you will work in our office in Da Nang City, Vietnam.
• Probation: 2 months with full benefit.

Tech stack:

• NodeJS, NextJS, ReactJS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS Aurora, EC2, Vercel, TailwindCSS, GitHub, Docker.

Requirements:

• You are a senior full-stack developer and have experience in all of the technologies mentioned in our tech stack above.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer. We also accept candidates with less than 5 years of experience but have exceptional achievements and talent.
• Proficient English communication. You will need to talk to our customers (US/EU based) via email or video calls.
